After 25 + years in Sales and Market/Product Development, I made a career change last winter and am now a Sr. Market Supply Mgr. with Dow Chemical Co. Made the change to cut back on the routine hectic travel, now my travel is internal (domestic and international) and to audit current/potential suppliers. We have lake property in NW Michigan, and spend most weekends there from the end of April through early November. Susan (Van Galder) Clark 18-Jan-2002 High School: Class of: Southside 1972 Now living in: Plato, MO [ E-mail ]  Joined the Army Nov 72 and went to Ft Bragg, NC and then to Germany. Returned home, tried life in Miami and then Erie. Came back then tried Dallas, TX where I met my husband. Joined Army and dragged him to Austin, TX for 2 yrs, to Corpus Christi for 5 yrs then to ARPERSCOM (ARPERCEN, RCPAC) in ST Louis where I retired with 20+ yrs as a Sergeant First Class. Been retired for 1 1/2 yrs now with no plans to get a job. We live out in the boonies south of Ft LeonardWood. Have lots of time to play with our 2 cats & 2 dogs and enjoy the easy life. No kids.

Ed Raymond 07-Jan-2002 High School: Class of: Southside 1963 Now living in: New Orleans, La [ E-mail ]  Joined the Navy in 1963, retired in 1985. Still working ships (Combat Systems Manager) at Avondale Shipyard in New Orleans... slipped in a BSBA and nearly an MS from USC. Been here for the World's Biggest Free Show (Mardi Gras) 13 years. Rode in 5 or 6 Parades..whew. Been back to Elmira a few times, brothers Rich and Bill still there. Miss it more each time I leave. My son married a girl from Owego he met in Calif and they live there (Owego)now, one more reason for moving back. Coming up on the big 40 year reunion mark, anybody making any plans?

John J. Dunne 18-Nov-2001 High School: Class of: Southside 1979 Now living in: Busan, South Korea,  [ E-mail ]  [ Homepage ] I attended Hardy Elementary, Broadway JHS, and Southside, graduating in 1979. In my idealistic youth, I wanted to be an astronomer, so I went to the University of Arizona in Tucson. After two years there, I had to drop out of college briefly and returned to Elmira. However, the economy was so bad at the time that I had to look elsewhere for work. I decided to return to Arizona, this time landing in Phoenix. I eventually graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Finance ('87) and an MBA ('91). I have worked in accounting/financial analysis for the past ten years or so. Earlier this year, I tried to marry a Moroccan woman living in Switzerland. When that didn't work out, I decided that I wanted to take a break from accounting. I'm now teaching conversational English at the Pagoda Foreign Language Institute in Busan, South Korea (Seomyeon campus). I've only been here two months so far (as of mid-November 2001), but it's been a blast. Korean culture is soooo different from western culture. Some year, I hope to return to America (and Elmira in particular--I haven't been there since Christmas, 1986). In the meantime, if you're ever in South Korea, please stop by and say hello. Have 3 children-21 year old daughter, 6 year old twin girls (and a husband too!). "Retired" from the working world 3 years ago to become a stay at home Mom. We've got quite an Elmira contingent living in the Denver area, which makes it fun. Love living out here, but still call Elmira "home". Get back quite often to visit family and friends and catch up.
