Hey there!

Was looking on the web for highschool reunions for Southside, class of 1987 to see if there were any information on it, and came across this.

It's funny how many people have moved south . . .

Anyway, if anyone has any knowledge about a 20th year reunion for the class of 1987 Southside High, please contact me via my e-mail! Ever appreciated!

I live in florida (10 years now) married and have two children. I'm a sergeant in the Florida Department of Corrections. I moved away from Elmira in the middle of 12th grade to Pa. my father took a posistion with a branch of a company he was working for. I still have a lot of family in Elmira and a bunch of friends that I have lost contact with, I miss them all and i miss Elmira. Anyone who remembers me feel free to E-mail.

I really enjoy browsing your sight and especially enjoy the 'aerial picture guessing game.' It is nice to see familiar images. No matter where I live, Elmira will always be my home

Get through Elmira once a year. Place has certainly changed over the years, some changes for the good, others for worse. It will always be home even though I have not lived there since I graduated college in 1985. I am now working for State Parks up in the Thousand Islands operating a large nature center on Wellesley Island in the St. Lawrence River, come visit!!!!

Wow, Found this site today.
It was good to go back, I haven't been to Elmira other than to visit since I graduated in 1982. I was in the Army for 11 years, worked as an executive chef and now work for the Federal Government. I would love to hear from anyone from home

JESUS, THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER
by Rena Fadis

The seasons are changing from summer to fall, and soon the trees will have no leaves at all.
The family dynamics are not the same, the nest has begun to empty, and a daughter-in-law was gained.
Life is changing from day to day; nieces and nephews are growing up in so many ways.
Visited the newlyweds, their love nest be blest, realized I'm growing up, who would have guessed?
The current events on the media waves make us realize historically these are difficult days.
Life holds changes from day to day; only death and taxes are here to stay.
Life is mysterious, its meaning sometimes elusive, but Jesus is Lord and that is conclusive.
Jesus will always be there no matter what, you need not look any further than your heart.
Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, find comfort in Him for He is the Savior.
Jesus promised to be with us until the end of the world, let us live our lives by His Holy Word.
Christ is born ! Glorify Him! Jesus is Lord, Our Savior, and King.
Merry CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR

Love, Rena, Mike, Bill, and Stefanie

My father Richard was born September 11, 1953 in Elmira. He was placed up for a hardship adoption in a Catholic orphanage (that's all I know) and adopted in 1955 by George and Rosemary Bromley, also of Elmira. I am looking for his natural family. If anyone thinks they can help, please contact me at elainakeeble@yahoo.co.uk
